The role of a Carer/Support Worker can be very fulfilling as it’s main purpose is to help a vulnerable individual become more independent. The type of care that is provided by a Carer/Support Worker usually depends on the needs of the individual service user.

Carers/Support Workers are involved in working to improve and maintain the standard of care that is provided and essentially help to enhance the individual service users quality of life.

On a daily basis the job will typically include assisting the individual service user with their basic care needs. This would include helping them with tasks such as washing and getting dressing, while ensuring standards of hygiene are adhered to, monitoring the individual service users health on a day-to-day basis which would include checking their temperature, their weight and heart rate and recording it accurately on a regular basis. This is crucial as it can be used to inform us, and any other services involved in the care of the individual, of the general health and well-being of the individual service user.

To ensure we adhere to the above level of care, Multiple Care Solutions is dedicated to training all staff and creating a culture amongst its workforce of quality care we can all be proud of.
